LG AN WF100 WIRELESS DONGLE HOW TO
A youtube video showed a setting for LG TVs on how to enable ARC which doesn't exist on the 60LN5710. My receiver got this cable in the slot marked ARC Support, and the other end went into the TV's ARC supported port. I bought a nice 7.1 receiver, 7.1 speakers, this TV and an HDMI cable that supports ARC.

Media files can't be played over network unless you install a server program that feeds it to your TV and it is so messy it's not even funny! I gave up on it and will continue to use current media extenders. The Xbox and Ceton Echo nail what needs done. It is an embarrassment to call this thing a SMART TV when it doesn't do anything right.

Overall Review: I'm certain the DLNA issues and all my other problems are to blame on the TV. It shows up as unknown so I needed to see the MAC ID. (Also thought the scanner would have done nicely) My router shows a nice list of what's connected, but this isn't named. I setup the router to assign this it's static IP so I'd have less connection issues and my router supports the MAC ID making this process super easy, however I had to take my $700 24MP camera to take a picture of the label on this so I could zoom in and READ the MAC ID. The only real issue I've experienced from this dongle is it shows all identical SSID so I had to disable the broadcasting of my network extender so I knew where I was connecting. I don't know why they felt it important to tell me about some rebate rules and such when I didn't apply for a rebate. The first two harped on about rebates and the 3rd spoke of the issue and claims the site is being updated.

My "smart" TV is 60LN5710 and since I've bought it, it has been unavailable on the lg.com site. 1 star for horrible support and - 1 star for supporting products not working properlyĬons: The cons are LG support. I give this product three stars because it works as intended, but the product it was plugged into does not.

Please note that the LG adapter is not dual-band as the Netgear driver name suggests it supports 2.4 GHz networks only.Pros: It works - The bright blue LED lets me know where things are back there and makes things easier when I need to plug something in. If it doesn’t, you have the wrong adapter (this guide is for the AN-WF100 only), or you’ve done something wrong.
